At Max Muscle Davis County, we offer a Macro Blueprint. As Certified Nutritionists, we’re able to tailor a nutrition plan that is suitable for your body type, your current measurements as well as your goals. This plan is ideal for the person looking to better understand why your body needs protein, fats and carbohydrates and then using our expertise in providing the correct amount for you!
When creating your Macro Blueprint, there are numerous factors that come into play. We strive to create the appropriate plan for every individual not to cookie cutter a plan. We utilize the InBody 570 machine here in-store which provides, among other things, your current amount of muscle mass, body fat and even the number of calories you burn at rest. Taking these numbers, we then determine what your dominant body type is. There are three different body types and while you will be dominantly one of the three, you will also likely have characteristics of the other two. This is important in that it helps us fine-tune the amount of protein, carbohydrates, and fats that you need to get results.
Using a program that our very own James Gustason (Owner) created, we’re able to personalize your program each step of the way. The exciting thing for you as the client is you’re able to see the program being tailored to you the entire time! We also take into consideration your activity level during the day as well as what types of exercises you’re doing and the amount of time you spend doing them. By the time we have your ideal Macro amounts put together, you see for yourself that these numbers have been made for you!
Your Macro Blueprint is based off a weekly goal. For example, your goal may be to lose 1 or 2 lbs of fat per week. This is where you’re then able to scan weekly to monitor muscle gained vs fat loss so that you are not judging success only on your scale at home. Your scale at home is not telling you the amount of lean muscle you’ve added, so be sure to scan in-store with your Certified Nutrition Coach. This will also enable you to ask any questions you have! We encourage you to stay persistent and understand that follow-up visits are in place to help you understand how closely you follow your Macro Blueprint and how it reflects on your numbers. There is no pass or fail, if you do your part you will have success!
